Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to complain about the service I received at your hotel last week.
Firstly, the service was very bad because when I booked they didn’t confirm the booking and I had to call to check my reservation.
Secondly when I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist didn’t know about my booking and I had to pay extra for a bigger room because there weren’t any small rooms available.
Finally, when I came to my room I smelt a disgusting smell and I felt sick. The toilet was broken and the light bulb in the bathroom was not working. When I called reception they said they would send housekeeping but nobody came.
I would like to suggest that you to tell your staff to check all rooms every day and to let you know that I do not expect this kind of service from a 3 star hotel. I will not be staying at your hotel in future.
